The 4th Annual RAF Marham Road Race and Fun Run took place on Sunday 19th July.
The event was organised by Corporal Phil Wolstanholme, who is also a volunteer with Out & About in his spare time. Runners came from all over East Anglia to take part running through a unique course, which included part of the RAF base.
Phil said, "After volunteering for Out & About for nearly four years and being part of the good work that the charity do, I decided to raise money for them. As I am a keen runner it seemed a natural choice to combine Out & About with my hobby. Organising a good running event in the local community has proven very worthwhile in raising money for disabled children to go out and about."
A huge thank you goes to Phil and his colleagues, Chris Coxon, Andy Merrett, Ben Churchman and Flight Sergeant Willie Brownlee and all the RAF personnel and cadets who volunteered their time to ensure the day ran smoothly.
